5. Legal bases

Depending on the processing, Lenybeny relies on performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests such as security and abuse prevention, legal obligations, and consent where required. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

6. Pet health information

Lenybeny stores information about pets. Information about an animal is not automatically personal data under the GDPR, although information linked to an identifiable owner/user may be personal data. You decide what to enter. Do not enter another identifiable person's information unless you have an appropriate basis to do so. It does not diagnose conditions, replace veterinary advice or guarantee the accuracy/completeness of information you enter.

7. Emergency Profile and public sharing

The optional Emergency Profile can be accessed without a Lenybeny account by a person who has the public link or QR code. You control the supported fields exposed and can deactivate or regenerate public access. Do not publish information you do not want a finder or other holder of the link/QR code to see. A public link may be copied or forwarded by someone who obtains it.

8. Service providers and storage

Current infrastructure includes Supabase for authentication, database and file storage, with the project hosted in Central EU (Frankfurt); Gandi for website/domain hosting; Resend for transactional email where enabled; and MailerLite for waitlist/communications where enabled.

9. Payments and future Premium

At the time of this V1 Policy, Lenybeny does not process payments through the application. If Premium subscriptions, rewards, partner offers or other commercial features are introduced, this Policy will be updated before the relevant processing begins and additional information will be provided where required.

10. Sharing

Lenybeny does not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed to service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate the service, or where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or security in accordance with applicable law.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, Lenybeny deletes associated account data, pet records and uploaded files, subject to information that must lawfully be retained or is required for legitimate security/legal purposes.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected issues to privacy@lenybeny.com.
